I've never noticed a thread being put into game over before it was expired? Except if it was a duplicate or didn't have the end date in the title..0

As far as i'm aware no thread gets 'deleted' does it they just get moved to game over if they haven't got an end date?
I can see where you're coming from though it's annoying when it gets moved to game over straight away some times if there is no end date.I can't see the harm in leaving it here if there is indeed no end date or maybe even the mods could edit the title themselves to put one and that way when it comes to that date they can move it then. They could maybe put the end of that month down?Darren0 -

It may be that the sigs were too long. I think they're meant to be kept as small as possible so that they don't take too long to load for anyone without broadbandAl Mac Appreciation Society (AMAS) member # 6½

I've seen threads move to Game Over the day before they're over but that's all. The mods do a sterling job :starmod:0

I have rarely seen threads moved into 'game over' when they aren't supposed to have been.
The threads that are moved early usually have no end date in the title - and as the mods are voluntary and extremely busy I don't see why they should have to amend these.
As Al Mac says use the thread sort - it usually works.
The mods do a fab job of keeping the thread running smoothly :TJo x2007:£5181.09 2008: £6619.70 2009: £4284.49 2010: £5213.14 2011: £4980.62 2012: £3188.52

....... The mods do a sterling job :starmod:
I couldn't agree more.
When you think this is a free website, the mods give us their free time, & on average there's 6 - 8 pages of new comps a day, if we miss one or two, c'est la vie, I just think we're terrifically lucky to be part of such an active forum.
Every comp that's not in game over is a bonus.
