obviously there are loads of comps aimed at and for the females
and likewise for males
on some comps I put the wifes name but does it really matter? Do you think they might weed us guys out?
we only use the one email address
many thanks0 -
Errm sex does it matter.Well you better ask the other half as she doesn't seem to think so:(;)Darren0

I had high hopes for this thread when I saw the subject! :rotfl:
Anyway I still live with my parents and dont have a partner so I only enter comps in my nameWeight Loss - 102lb0 -
On a serious note i have mine and the other halfs details filled out on 2 roboforms so i enter her details for the womens comps and things like laptops or boys stuff;) i enter mine.
I get the better prizes that way too;)Darren0 -
I have me, my partner and two kids on Roboform ! I don't enter them for all comps, and so far 'they' have not won me anything, but here's hoping
I would say sex ( in the competition meaning ) doesn't matter. If for example my OH won a spa day, he could explain that he entered it to win the prize for his missus for a special treat !0 -
thanks how can i edit identities on roboform
ive made an account for my wife but can't log off from my one?
do u only enter once? is it generally one entry per household?0 -
I just enter my own name in all of the comps, none of the t&cs say you have to be a certain sex to enter. Although i do get a bit embarrased on the fhm etc comps. I figure if i win ill just say "Oh yeh I entered for my other half..."Won 2007: SatNav £150 Organic Facial Creams £48 Luxury Hotel Break £320, Rimmel Mascara £8, Champneys Voucher £300If a man speaks in the middle of a forest, and there is no woman to hear him...is he still wrong?0

You don't log off as such. I have created four identities that appear on my toolbar.
To edit hover your mouse over the toolbar until the edit/submit buttons appear
Always check the T&Cs for each comp if you want to put in more than one entry to check the restrictions. Some places check IP addresses to detect multiple entries0 -
I won a ps2 from Nuts magazine, and the man there was quite surprised when he rang me! Having said that, the shortened version of my name is unisex, so I tend to use that on the 'blokey' compsAl Mac Appreciation Society (AMAS) member # 6½

i just dive right in regardless, it would be discrimination to only accept entries from one sex or another in the majority of cases. obviously things like, er, full body waxing and the like i just wouldnt enter. and photoshoots etc.. you know what i meancomping sporadically since 14.07.07
latest prize: PS40
