Helloooo,
I started comping in May (and am now slightly addicted) and i've started getting a few wins through which i'm obviously really chuffed about. I've had the emails to say congratualtions send us you're address etc but as of yet i haven't received anything.
I was just curious if anyone had received the congratulatory emails saying they had won something but have never actually received the prize and what do you do if that happens??
Cheers guys,

I would give it about 28 days, if the wins haven't arrived by then get in touch with the company offering the prize.2023 wins - Rice Krispies, Avene Micellar Gel, Barbie Toy, £20 Apple Gift Card, KFC 6 piece bargain bucket, Chloe Nomade perfume, Barbie Toy (second one), Sanctuary Spa Sleep Balm, E45 Moisturising Lotion, Trolls Hamper, 12 Tonie Characters, Sure deodorant, Good Home Utensil holder, £5 Costa Gift Card, Neutrogena Micellar Jelly, Soap & Glory Mascara, Persil capsules,0

I see that several people have won prizes this year..... Is it really worth doing it. I can see that it may be addictive and you end up with a ton of junk mail to boot....?
The other day on the freebee page, people were queuing up to get a free sample of bleach !! Now that's just silly?
So is it worth having a go? Or will I just waste hours on the computer?NO to pasty tax We won!!!! Just shows that people power works! Don't be apathetic to your cause!0 -
I suspect that if you are asking this then no it isnt as there are no guarantees to how much you when and what you win, and yes you will spend many HOURS on the computer.....but it can be fun and rewarding too."Those who try to make sense of the world are divided into four categories: scientists, theologians, philosophers, and fools. Hi N9eav
I always wondered if it was worth doing, then noticed the prizes that some of the others were winning and decided to give it a go.
Personally my best prize to date was the grand prix tickets, not everyones cup of tea but great for metry just entering the competitions you would like to win rather than them all then you wont be entering for hours a day.
I use roboform for filling details etc in
If you do decide to try comping good luck and heres to your first win....but be warned it is very addictive (and your postman will think you have gone mad when your checking the post every morning!!!!!)£2008 for 2008 member No.4140 -
Look at my signature and other comper's signatures and decide for yourself. It terms of hours put in the returns are well less than the minimum wage, but the fun and thrill factor are huge. Its lovely driving home from work anticipating what might be in the post.
I simply enjoy the forum. There is a sense of community and friendship here and we don't take ourselves too seriously. For me its worth it just to have a laugh with some very nice people.0 -
I have a couple of times and had no email response when I've emailed. Some places state they won't enter into correspondance0

I completely agree. Entering comps should be fun and not taken too seriously !But, it does become addictive especially when the prizes start rolling in. Anyway, so what if the house and kids get neglected!!! :rotfl: (only joking)
