do the sites have a setting so you cant enter them if you are abroad or is it just when you go to enter them that you dont want to put a uk address?

normally if there are restrictions such as over 18, under 16 etc the poster actually puts them on here but I guess noone looks for uk only as we are all (nearly all) from the uk!

I suppose i would rather enter comps that im allowed to rather than putting in a uk address-if i was lucky to win something in theory when they find out im not in the uk they could disqualify me.

just wanting to have a bit or a vent, not a big one but...people are copying magazine answers from here onto other forums. I know we all found these ones HERE that were crediting us with having got the answer but they are also getting copied over to marinas forum HERE

It wouldnt be so bad if they credited us with the answers but they dont and dont even let us know/ask us. I know its a consequence of posting on a public forum but..well its the principle, plus im tired and grouchy this morning!

both sites are great, im addicted to this one and have started heading over to marinas too recently only to find that my answers are posted there complete with MY non punctuation, puzzle mistakes as well as spelling mistakes!

here here helen i would like it to be know that the take a break answers are copied from me who does all the hard work and someone over there gets all the "thanks for your hard work" [EMAIL="!!!!"]!!!![/EMAIL] wouldnt be so bad if they mentioned it was a copy and paste from here !!!!!

I totally agree. Its a pity you don't know who it is who's doing this then you could name and shame then! Hopefully they'll read your post and have a change of mind in the future.

what we should do is ask the poster on the other site what headline features on a page just to make sure they have the mag in front of them lol
i mean seriously these puzzles have me in tears every week and for someone just to swan in a pretend like they did em is bad manners :mad:

lol, they would probably take a while to reply and in the meantime have been in a newsagents to check the answer!

wouldnt be so bad but this week theyve copied my answers, I made 2 mistakes in getting answers wrong which are now corrected on my post here on MSE. Im also terrible and just using all lower case and not using capitals when posting my answers. Also at least once I type a word and cos Im typing quite quickly I mistakenly put a couple of letters the wrong way round, for example this week in where I put what the prizes that arent cash are ive spelt which as whcih!


Right Im going back to bed for a while, was up earlish, am getting very grouchy so going before I get really narked off!!
