  • Thank you for your comments about how to treat budgeted spend on presents etc. I've decided that if I stick to buying only budgeted items and nothing for myself I will count those days as NSDs. Sometimes spending on one thing leads to spending on non planned items - a bit like when you break into a £10 note the rest of the cash seems to disappear (or is that just me?)

So based on that I am going for a
Target of 15 NSDs with 1 bagged already (yesterday)

    Good luck to all
  • Hi Folks

I can happily report 1 NSD which was yesterday, so I am off to a great start...and on track for another NSD today (fingers crossed).

I am trying to get my three in a row done early in the month, but think I may need to top the car up with diesel on tomorrow (although I have budgeted £70 for the month for diesel so not sure if I need to include this?

Also, because of Christmas I may spend a little bit but I'm hoping to organise what i need to buy so I can try and do it all in one trip/day.

Haven't been out again today so now have 2 NSDs.

Will definitely be a spendy day tomorrow as I'm planning on buying as much of the monthly shop as I can, particularly meat, as I need to refill my outside freezer which was accidentally defrosted by my daughter whilst I was on holiday.
