Right, now are we all set for this evening's Halloween/Samhain do?
Ennessdee Towers is festooned with Igor's handknitted cobwebs. The turnip whisky and pumpkin Chardonnay are festering away in cauldrons. The bath is chock full of Igor's bat curry, there are trays of apple pizza, apple curry, chilli con apple, and of course that old standby Brussels sprout curry, all crafted by Igor's fair hands. (Don't worry, I have the pizza delivery service on speed-dial).

I see kerri has rigged up the pole-dancing pole on the lawn - Igor! Keep Hubert away please, pole dancing is hard enough with two legs, let alone four. Especially when those four have pink stilettos on the end. And make sure he has a fresh nappy on tonight, you know what bat curry does to him.

The bar is set up, and there is space for everyone's home-brew contributions. Not that there will be any drunken nonsense, we are too refined and classy for that. (Why do you have a pink cocktail umbrella up your nose, Igor?)

Now, costumes.....Igor, I know you wanted everyone to dress up as an apple. Our NSD gang are a very traditional lot, so you will see them dressed as witches, ghosts, monsters and vampires - yes, I did tell them it was fancy dress but they're doing a "come as you are" thing....Yes, you can wear your maggotty apple outfit, just don't lean over the food.

Music organised? Must say the band look a bit weird - a bit like Abba meets the Rocky Horror Show.....I'm sure they will get the party off with a bang......Ok, Igor, just be ready this evening to welcome everyone as they arrive. I'm going for a little lie down, all this organising fair takes it out of one, it does...

    see you later......

Welcome to Ennessdee Towers, the Halloween/Samhain party is underway, Igor has some splendid cocktails for you all to try and Kerri is by the pole dancing pole, ready to give lessons for those who are feeling brave enough. Plenty of food on the buffet table, would suggest you avoid the bat curry - last time Igor made it he left the fur on the bats. And keep Hubert away from the Brussels sprout curry - SOMEBODY (who shall be nameless, Igor!)forgot to get the mega-sized donkey nappies with this week's shopping. Are the band going to start soon? Could do with getting the dancing started - Time Warp, anyone?
