EvertheOptimist - yes, November is a bit of a challenge, I mean, how many adjectives can you think of beginning with N????

I was thinking, (bad habit, that, must get out of it...) maybe, instead of the first page thread setter-upper having to allocate prizes, (and I think kerri might have been thinking along these lines, being as off the wall as I am) how about if somebody (maybe ETO once sproglet is in bed?) could look at the latest scores, and then, if anyone has hit their target, award that person a suitable prize? Nice prizes (cake, chocolate, vino etc) always welcome but wacky and totally barking prizes also invited - anything to give us all a reason to smile in these difficult times. It could become a compulsive habit amongst us - "quick look at the thread, see who's hit target and see what weird and wonderful prize ETO is going to give them!"
(Just an idea, for those of us who are of the sad persuasion......me included....)

Yikes  - looks like we've got ourselves a job ETO

It's looking like I'll be home earlier than planned this evening from my travels so I'll have a bash at setting it up tonight.

It won't be up to freeby's standard but at least we'll be looking after it in the meantime.

You are both absolute stars. I am sure whatever you come up with will be fine, we're not fussy on here, we're too grateful for any contribution to the thread! Please let us know if you want anyone to do an update or help out in any other way. I'm a bit of a technophobe but there are some brilliant people who can do all the flashing lights and special effects, and they will I am sure point you in the right direction if you ask.

Looking forward to November's thread I am sure it will be a cracker!

    I had a spend day today :(
Brought a hoodie, 2 coat/jacket things, a top and some nice hair clips from primark, A pack of socks for myself too and 2 christmas presents for people.

    :( Will be potting change.

Whoops....well I guess it could have been worse - you could have been in Gucci ;) And well done on getting organised with the xmas presents.
Sounds good to me Nargle. We can see how it goes and adapt accordingly. In some ways I'm glad I'm not setting the thread up as I'm not creative enough to come up with a good title. Lol. :D

'as off the wall as I am' ..I might take offence to that Nargle if it hadn't blown away in the storms :o:o bad joke? 'a boom boom ching' :rotfl:

Sorry, I seem to have gone past stressed to the hilt at work, to slightly hysterical and it is seeping into the rest of my life :D

another busy one today at work, then dropped in to drop something off to DM who was at a friends near me, haven't seen her friends for years (since I was a kid) so it was quite strange sitting talking as adults - but nice :) Therefore got home later than planned, attacked a few more emails, whipped up cauliflower cheese for dins and tackling the magic porridge pot that is the wash basket. Oh and ordered something for OH xmas :D

I did make it to boot camp this morning to make up for not going yesterday in the gales, pole is now on a Wed for the next month while she decides what she's doing, so no boot camp for me tomorrow morning. Feel like I'm eating a lot of carp atm but think I'm managing to burn some of it off in stress / nervous energy - argh!

No NSD here, had to get more mog food (swear she has worms, would also help on the bill if she didn't upchuck it as soon as it's gone down like last night) and some sweets for the kids if they come round on Thurs.

One more to go to target. Cant' believe it's nearly Nov, but doesn't it feel autumnal outside now.
