Ikea Bathroom

You have to use their basin trap as the ( top drawer) drawer is not suitable for a U.K trap. There is no cut out to fit a standard U.K trap. You can use any tap, but I would suggest a tap with flexible connectors.0

So how big is a standard UK bathroom waste pipe that the connector will have to fit into? I've looked at the PDF fitting instructions and it says it will fit either a 32cm or 40cm pipe.
thanks

The basin isn't that deep, will that bother you for shaving/face washing?Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0

Don't think it'll be a problem. Only use it for rinsing shaver and toothbrush, never really fill it with water.0

For the record what ikea don't make clear is that the adapter will fit the inside of a solvent weld waste pipe. Brush on some polystyrene cement and you will have something watertight. You will then need a universal coupler or elbow to join your solvent weld to anything other than more solvent weld waste.
It is poo, but mostly because of the instructions.0
