Ikea Bathroom

In the process of upgrading our bathroom, and quite like the Ikea Godmorgon/Odensvik combo, but am not so keen on the Ikea taps. Just wondering if anyone knows if the holes in the Ikea sinks are standard sizes and will fit any store bought taps?
Thanks

The grating seat in the basin does not work with standard 1 1/4 UK wastes. You will need to use the ikea waste kit which is utter poo!Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure0

Can you tell me why the Ikea one is "utter poo"0

Or alternatively, does anyone know of a company that does a similar looking product (with normal waste fittings) that comes in at a similar price to Ikea.

I want the 120cm black/brown look which comes in at GBP350

The waste is a different diameter to the pipe in the wall, but we got an adapter piece from B&Q. I'm not sure why andyhop thinks the waste kit is utter poo, it seems perfectly functional to me?
I have that sink, but the single drawer unit in gloss white. If you aren't already planning to, you might want to think about getting the legs for the unit, as the whole thing is incredibly heavy. I actually put 4 legs on mine, just in case!0 -
If you don't mind the huge flexi taking up the space in your cabinet, or the corrugated flex that collects dirt then happy days
The supplied trap is a complete and utter joke compared to a standard £3.50 mcalpime item.....but what do I know, just a plumber!!!Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure0 -

It wasn't a criticism, I genuinely didn't know why you don't like it. Mine isn't a corrugated flex tho, I have a rigid pipe.
EDIT: Having looked at the sink installation instructions, I can see the corrugated pipe you're talking about. I didn't need to use it, as the rigid part connected directly onto the waste pipe in my wall (with the addition of the afore mentioned adaptor piece).0 -
