Today's comps moved to Game Over?

Today's comps are still on the main board.

No criticism implied or intended for the wonderful board guides - I just wondered if the move was a mistake and am delighted it could be fixed.

And thanks for the heads up that they might be moved early - gives me motivation to keep a couple of days ahead.

Maybe the comping guide should be amended then? Just because it says they may sometimes be done early, does it mean they should??

Why aren't they just moved the next time the BG's have some spare time rather than moving useful threads before they have ended and then making it a lot more of a faff to find/enter them when they are still live...

Not the first time this has happened. There are a lot more logical reasons to leave them on the main board rather than some over zealous people moving them. :mad:

Because then other 'over-zealous' people make a big thing about them still being on the main board. Some people want them to stay on the board, other people want them moving ASAP. The BGs can't win - they have a group of people moaning whatever they do. And I'm sure they don't wanna be tied down to having to move comps just after midnight each day. And I'm guessing that real life takes precedence over moving comps so maybe they're not available to move them immediately the following day.

But there's no point moving them to Game Over when they are still live comps.

It's like clearing up dinner before someone has eaten it just because they have OCD cleaning habits..

I've quite often served dinner up early because I was going out or had other things that I had to get done

I said clearing up not serving..

makes a difference.

Unless you give them dinner then take it away again before it's been eaten.

I don't dispute that ... much. I'm just saying they can't win either way. I suppose the only way to keep everyone happy would be to stay up and move them all at midnight. But I don't think that's going to happen

It has been known for my Gran to whisk cups out from under peoples' noses whilst they are still drinking! :rotfl:
