Today's comps moved to Game Over?

Hi everyone

I am doing my comps for today (late I know :rotfl:) but it looks like most of the comps ending today have been moved to Game Over. Who can I contact?

Thanks

D.

Hi, the Board Guides are volunteers who move comps (and merge threads and all the rest of it) as and when they have time, which means that occasionally things are moved either early or late.

    There's no automated system :)

    *Edit*
There's always the faithful Google! Not perfect as you can't instantly see ticks and crosses, but helps to look for any biggies.

    Advanced search - domain forums.moneysavingexpert.com - time last year - search term E: 29/09

  • This has happened before with no real explanation. Comps shouldn't be moved before the end date is over. Its daft to do so regardless of the personal reasons. People miss out on comps if they comp via end date.
    August-September 2017: Lots of stuff :)

Isn't it determined by the number of clicks to the expired button.

It could be that peeps have been a bit over zealous with tidying up the forum :p

It's in the comping guide (I knew someone had quoted it before)
WARNING: If you are entering comps on the day or even the day before they end you run the risk that perhaps the comp has closed a little early & your entry won't be counted. Another thing to bear in mind is that the Board Guides volunteer hours of their time to keep these boards clear & running smoothly so sometimes comps which are ending today or perhaps tomorrow (in rare cases) may be moved to Game Over a little early - this is a task which has to fit around their real lives & also when they have some spare 'online' time.
    SUGGESTION
: If you really want to only enter comps right when they are ending then I strongly suggest you get a couple of days ahead of yourself to avoid the above. :)

E: 29/09 in Game Over start around here:

Problem is Game Over includes previous years as well as 2013.
