  • Morning!

Tru - Enjoy your holiday. Haven't been to Cornwall for years but it's sooo lovely there.

So today I'm taking DS2 to look for a suit. He has some smart days at 6th form, where they have to dress for work and we have a Wedding in November. I was hoping I wouldn't have to buy him one for a few years yet (like his brother) and have told him I'm only buying the one, so if he needs another when he is at Uni etc he will be funding it himself.

Leftover vegetable stew and chicken for dinner tonight.

    Enjoy your day.

    Morning everyone,

Molly, Hilstep, Beemuzed, HH, LW Hugs.

Dumpling Glad that you are feeling better.

Tru Have a lovely holiday. A few years ago the house that we stayed in on holiday every year was sold, we now stay at another on the same street!

Welcome to returners and newbies savingspree and cariad.

nmlc sorry about your OH's aunt.

    NAR happy retirement

Lovely meal out last night, we went to a curry place that I haven't been to since DS was born (he is 17) and it hadn't changed a bit. It was lovely and the children loved it too.

OH and I are off to A Place in the Sun Live today at the NEC, well a girl can dream.
Hope DS doesn't crash the car in my absence, I finally insured him for it yesterday (by the way it is really worth talking to insurance companies about possible savings, I managed to save £300 yesterday off the original quote).

    Have a lovely day everyone.:)

Been to Asda already and now I'm comfy on the sofa with my crocheting, a big mug of orange hot chocolate and last weeks Downton Abbey :-) (doesn't hurt to watch it again!)
Cleaned the kitchen yesterday, so that's one less job for today. Steak and chips for tea tonight. Cheese & bacon toasties with fried eggs on top for lunch :-)
Need to go to BF's mums house at some point too.

    Morning all.

Lots of busy bees have posted already which makes me feel lazy having only just got up, even then it's because dd2 kept asking for bacon and egg whites for brekky and she is too young to use the oven!

Had a really busy weekend, dd1 has been at a brownie camp and have had had two nights out. This added to the dance class and market research means I have to look forward to doing all the chores today and collecting dd1!

Well, dd2 wants more bacon...luckily she likes the cheap off cut packets so it does not cost a fortune.
Don’t put it down - put it away!

  • Welcome Cariad and savingspree.

5 loads of washing on the line, had all the windows and doors open for a couple of hours but it is beginning to get a bit chilly now!

Cleared the big table, photographed it and the chairs and put it on Gumtr££, it's far too big for the new house so has to go. Quite sad really.

Anyway, going to go for a bike ride this afternoon as the weather is so good.

    Take care. XX

    Morning All,

What a fab party we had last night, over 100 guests. Good food, good music and a great crowd of family and friends.

Can't believe I have recovered so well this morning.

Ah well one more day of "work" tomorrow and then I can get a lie in any day I fancy! ;)

Have a good day everyone

Put pork in the oven at 9a.m. and prepared broccoli, carrots and cauliflower, potatoes and swede to mash and yorkshire batter is in the fridge.

Planning lunch for 1 o'clock so going to preheat top oven for yorkies.

Cleaned kitchen yesterday so feel less of a mess and having a quiet day except for walk to supermarket later to look for bargains.

DH wandered off to friend's allotment over an hour ago so he had better be home for lunch.

Hugs to all especially Molly, Hester, Lame Wolf , Beemuzed and hope Tru enjoys her holiday.
