I was emailing a seller through ebay as I wasn't happy with the length of time it took to post something to me. she opened a case with ebay saying they would agree with her. they sided with me.
Not quite sure what that has to do with my original message Aesop?? when i said "Just so you know the system on ebay now doesn't let you contact the seller without opening a case if there is a problem - its not the buyers fault" i was trying to explain that cases get opened now automatically and the buyer doesn't actually open these deliberately - link for more info: http://community.ebay.co.uk/t5/Selling-on-eBay/Do-ebay-automatically-open-case-now/qaq-p/1569265

Hello all.
Adding 18.66 from an internet shopping glitch in my favour.
Today is the day I get to go and claim my £1000 win of shoes
Sadly I have to go and have my photos taken as part of the PR (cringe! I hate my photo being taken) but will keep my eye on the prize.....
Not huge amounts made this month but I've worked out that as well as my usual FT freelance earnings I've made a whopping extra 50% this past month which means that 90% of all of the bills not paid after DH was made redundant have all been paid by me! Bless him, he gave me a huge hug the other night and said I'd done a brilliant job which means an awful lot.
DH is now back in work and his first proper wage will be at the end of November. We've had an email saying his redundancy claim has gone through (1000+ less than expected so he has to chase this up) which means everything by mid Nov will be back on track again.
A good feeling!
And I am jiggeredMSE-ing since 20070 -

depending on size of item, why don't you look at couriers? I use them for pretty much bulky items under 2KG.
We had one really good driver who worked for Her*es but sadly he has left and gone to a another job not courier.
But my PO have given me one of those new small parcel size boxes so it should be easier I hope from now.
Thank you for your advice

Morning all....
I've just caught up with 12 or 13 pages. Thats how long I have been MIA! Update. I had loads on ebay, ended up in hospital, so had to end all items early as i knew i wouldn't be able to post anything.
I'm quite poorly at the minute, so feeling very sorry for myself. However i do have some stuff to add. £123 in wages from extra job. Around £50 in tips. And an unexpected £203 from tax credits this morning. I've made target so i guess thats a good thing.
However, i'm now on the sick. So i will have no wages from 2nd job to get. And i will be getting half pay from my 1st job. So i'm really down to be honest. I'm hoping to get back to work soon, but i've had quite a serious infection (so i'm told).
I hate being ill all the time because i have such a rubbish immune system. Why can't i just be normal? To top it off me and DH are arguing all the time. I've stopped taking my anti d's. Ive just had enough.
Sorry for the miserable post.
Sorry Fairy because i still haven't sent those sheets yet. I'm just rubbish.

Massive Hugs to you CP!!!! I do know what it is like to have illness after illnessWhen i was struggling with low immune system i found Pharmaton was a very good vitamin supplement - might be worth checking out.
Am a bit worried to hear you are off your anti d's huni, am sure you know the likely consequences of that moodwise, but it will also not help with the immune system issues. If you feel they aren't working maybe talk it through with the doc. I truly hope you feel better soon xxxDebt at Aug 2010 (LBM) £21,908.86, Debt Freeeeee Date 4th Nov 2013 :j:j:j Massive Thanks to the £10 per day thread :A Next goals:Savings £1203.16/£10,000******Mortgage to Zero: £52,579.46 to go

what I was saying was that didn't happen to me. I messaged the buyer and they opened a case.
But looking through your link, can see this post:

Hi
The system has recently changed. Now, when a buyer goes to send you a message, if they select the item not received or item not as described options, they go through to the resolution centre and a case is opened.
Here's the recent announcement about it:
http://www2.ebay.com/aw/uk/201302061625142.html
There is an additional glitch at the moment that means that even though the buyer may write the details of what the problem is on the case, these aren't being passed on to the seller, so you may need to message the buyer to obtain these.0 -
I just saved £47.50 on RRP by ordering from Approved Food, all stuff I would have bought anyway. Should I add it to my total?0

CountingPennies, you're not rubbish! You've been through a lot, be kind to yourself. Please talk to your doctor about your antidepressants. Thinking of you x0
