Mrs C where do you sell your books. I have tried eBay and Green Metropolis but they just aren't shifting! I went into my local market today and I can get up to 50 pence credit towards buying another book. What do people think of this?

Thanks for good wishes for my cruise xx
The only books website I've tried so far is Webuybooks.
I sold some at car boot grouped by author and some at a church fair, I have some Agatha Christie which may be worth a shot on eBay, good luck.

    Hi LuckyPenny

Can you please edit your post about MS. We are not allowed to mention client names or the jobs we do for them. I will find you link to MS thread so you can read all about it. This one in particular does not like being talked about on Openforums. You can say I had an MS job at an eatery but that is all.

    Thank you.

I would say 50p credit is a decent offer if the books are regular novels - that is what i see people selling books for all the time at car boots! It depends of course on if you would buy books at the market and the price they are charging. Another option might be to add to fb if you not tried that yet!

I've nabbed another £50 to add to my debt fund :D well chuffed with that and it takes me well over the middle hump into the downward slide :D:D Its really starting to feel close now to that debt free finish line!!

I have booked myself into a craft fair/indoor car boot sale for beginning of Nov and still trying to focus on GTM though i couldn't get any surveys to do yesterday :( Am also waiting on a payment from another fb sale (cheque being posted) so hopefully that lands soon too. Oh yes and christmas quilt almost finished - wadding and backing to do next then the edging and its ready :) Need to try and finish a few more projects for the craft fair and get stuck into the charity quilts too so my wee fingers are going to be busy :rotfl::rotfl:

OHHHHH and i forgot to say - i found 5p :) it was in a bag of stuff emptied out of a drawer to sort through - doesn't feel like real roadkill though and i will be on the hunt when i go out to my appt later today ;)
Debt at Aug 2010 (LBM) £21,908.86, Debt Freeeeee Date 4th Nov 2013 :j:j:j Massive Thanks to the £10 per day thread :A Next goals:

Just popping on to add the ebay sales which are £30 after fees and postage. I undercharged on postage to Canada :-/ but I would rather it was well packed and arrived safely. Bit galling tho as the price jumps from £4.50 to £7.20 over 250g.
    Have a great day everyone.

You tried looking at international couriers. That might have been cheaper foe yiu.
  • Just popping in to catch up, I have nothing else to add to the pot yet. I maxed out my ebay account yesterday and listed some in DH's but no bids as yet. I have 2 MSing assignments to do later today so all good.
