We found an additional £1.01 before leaving the airport.......but this didn't fully compensate for being utterly robbed of £8.00 for airport parking.... Still in shock!

Hey folks, hope you are all doing well and life isn’t being too unkind to you. I haven't been about a lot of the past week, news of my contract ending has really got out and I've been called with a pile of shifts so that’s November looking a lot better than it was Woohoo. I have been trying to dip in and out of this thread to keep up to date with you all though and I want to let all you who are experiencing doubt and difficulty that I’ve been thinking about you and trying to send as many positive vibes and good thoughts your way, I’ve even tried to have a wee word with my angels for yous but I’m not too sure if that’s worked ‘cause I think they’re on overload what with trying to keep me safe (I’m awfully accident prone lol) :A
Because I've been so busy, the money making has slowed right down as well...I'm still carrying out surveys though and managed to cash out another £4.25 on one site which brings my total for that site as £14.75, which I think is amazing considering its just giving my thoughts and opinions - I tend to do this for free most of the time anyway . I've managed to find yet more roadkill but haven't got round to counting it, I'll do it on my day off.
Bit annoyed at one survey site though (Valued Opinion) as I was at £8.25 (when the cashing out threshold was £10) when conveniently the site has started saying that my email address and password aren't recognised when I try and logon... I've contacted their technical support and received a standard response however when I replied they have failed to get back to me
Currently I’m trying to the information together so I can make a claim for compensation regarding a delayed flight I was on in 2009 so fingers crossed. Also plan to look into whether I paid any PPI payments on a bank loan I had out in 2010… I’ll let you all know how I get on.
Just a leaving thought... Have any of you seen the group hug emoticon? Is it just me or does it look V rude?? lol

Hi I know October is nearly over but I read this thread two days ago and have been trying to make £10 a day so from Friday 18th which would be £140 until the end of the month. So far I have found £7 in a money jar I didn't know I had.. I then added to it road kill and other change I found in the bottom of my bag the total is now £20!!! I also found an old boots advantage card which has £6.60 on and have sold my old Uni books some to Amazon and some to we buy books for a grand total of £40. So my total is already over £66 in 3 days. Looking forward to the next 11 days. I'm a Newbie so any tips would be gratefully received.

Hi and welcome. A good start to the challenge.

Have a good read of the first two posts and read through the thread. Lots of ideas to choose from.

Lots of pages to catch up on, not much to add from me. £15.36 which is a combination of qustodian, giving the BF a lift and Quidco. But it does bring my total to over £300 at £310.38.

I sold some items on eBay, but I had a negative £15 balance so I will probably just pay for postage and fees and be left at £0 :( I must remember to do a Royal Mail lost parcel claim later.

Nothing else to add. I'm working from home for 2 days this week and at least 3 next week, which saves me £10 a DAY! I won't be adding it though.

Time to go get caught up.

I have an idea for another little mini challenge if anyone wants to join in with me? - i think most of us do use lots of different sites which have targets for cashing out and if you are anything like me they are all at different amounts - how about we each pick one site to focus on and try to get to cash out level on that site (of course we can do the others too, but try to do the one we want to focus on everyday or every time there is something available?) I find doing this helps to boost my motivation a bit and lets me cash out quicker than if i just do random surveys etc.

For example i would like to focus on GTM - i'm at 565/1000 at the minute (you can pick whichever site you want to focus on)

Hi Fairyclicks, I like the sound of that challenge, as I have some accounts that are simply sitting still at the moment, as I try to keep on top of too many. This week I am going to focus on Swagbucks 771/849

I really need to try and get myself organised as I have gotten lost again this month and not what has come in and what is due to come in. How do you keep track of what has come/due to come in?

Today I have received £2.43 from Asda comparison, £19 vouchers, found £1 roadkill (left in the trolley at frozen food shop) £22.43, which takes my balance to £83.18/£310
