Laughing my tush off!! Hubby met me from the train and we decided to go to A$da and see if we could womble a receipt or two. He is really quick off the mark spotting these so he goes to check out a piece of paper that turns out to be nothing......but he totally misses the bright shiny 5p on the floor about 2 feet away that I scooped up.........to shouts of "No way!" and "Unfair!". Hehehehehe!!!
Found 2 receipts to check and a brand new eye liner pencil in the car park! Score!Credit Card Freedom gained 14 Feb 2014!!Total Debt Freedom gained 29 Apr 2014!!Savings goal 30/9/23: £72,000/£538,001.....yes I'm serious!Total Debt August 2013: [STRIKE]$21,587[/STRIKE] April 2014: $0!!!!:j0 -
Good evening, I have gotten a bit lost with things this month. I really need to start posting and catching up daily in order to keep myself motivated and organised. Tonight I have caught up with the thread and made a list of things that I need to either check my account for or sign up with, thanks to everyone for the helpful posts.
Tonight I have also checked my last Asda receipt which gave me £2.31. £46.51/£310
I have also done this weeks shop and saved £10.91, Can I include this amount it was saved on things that I would have purchased anyway but swapped brands and bulk bought to save the money.0 -

Just did a lovely £3 survey for Valued Opinions. I'm 10p short of another £10 Sainsbury's voucher towards my £400 Kenwood K-mix. It's going to be years before I can get it but I'm so excited.
I got £13.25 for a mystery shop to our favourite restuarant. I was going to put it all in the joint account to reimburse it but bf said I could take half - so that's £6.63 to meBF also offered me £5 to take him to work last night so I'll gently remind him of that today.
Hi Emmaglet,
Who do you mystery shop for? I have always wanted to do that. Earned £4 so far from iPoll in the last week, missed the Beverage mission though :-( Just didn't need to buy any beverage from the local shop! Think I might re-sign up for valued opinions.
Made £2 on eBay today as well, slowly adding up!

I would say add the money if you can afford to take it and put it towards saving or debts or bills. then yes you can include it.0 -

Why am I awake so early this morning you ask?
Because I can hardly sleep.......I had an idea to look into cruises to the Bahamas from Florida yesterday, and at 9am I will be at Virgin holidays trying to barter a lower price. Not MSE at all, but this thread means that we have enough money set aside to be able to afford it!!! Whoop.
Actually I lie, it does work out to be somewhat MSE. The days we are going include a weekend where theme parks are busy. It includes all food and non alcoholic drinks on board the ship. A return taxi to anywhere I can drink whilst on holiday is £100! That's my excuse anyway.....I like to make money
