I am too late to join the October thread but I am following all of your comments and getting some ideas for November
With the App Trailer I have got over 500 points, its says that you can reedem your points when you get 500 and have money put into your paypal account. It's saying that I don't have enough points, anyone else had a similar problem? Its showing $0.50+ under the paypal logo - any ideas who I reedem?
Also, what do you all think of iPoll? I have just down loaded it and so far I haven't been on a 'mission' to a shop. Do you get funny looks or do the shop owners ask you any questions when your taking photos? I have a mission to go to my local newsagents and I'm sure she will wonder what I am doing. What are sort of cash/vouchers do you get from the scheme?
Thanks all:money:
Apptrailers takes a few minutes to update, so if you've just earned your points to take you to 500, give it 30 mins or so.
iPoll is great. I've not had any missions where I've had to interact with staff. I just did a beverage one where I had to scan what I bought and take a photo of the receipt. It is worth being a member - a few months ago I had to film myself talking about different topics for 10 days and I earned close to £90 from it. You can redeem on their site via Paypal, Amazon, New Look and M&S - LOADS more but those are the ones that stood out to me.
Field Agent is also a good one - where you have to interact with staff and sometimes print a "letter of authority".I like to make money

HOK3Y make friends with the SAs at all your local supermarkets and ask them when they reduce the food. They all reduce food including M&S everyday at certain times. My local sainsburys does the first reductions at 11am, then 4pm, then around 6pmish.
Asda do reductions around 4pm
it is called whoopsie shopping and well talked about on the shopping boards and old style.0 -
Thanks so much Emmaglet and Aesop - I will get onto the other board and start swotting up on whoopsie shopping. Just gobsmacked!

Pinecone are recruiting again, if anyone has not joined and would like to try. They pay £3 per survey. Payable by paypal or you can save your rewards and cash out for £10 or more in giftcards etc.
This is not a referral link, I don't get anything for it.

Thanks for this. I've filled in the form and submitted it - haven't heard anything yet, but fingers crossed.
I haven't been on all weekend, but have got some more items listed on eb@y, a few of which have watchers. I've sold a couple of bits which I posted today - just need to work out what I've made once fee's () are paid.
20p in roadkill from the centre console in the car. That's about it. I know the little payments add up, but its so much nicer having big numbers to report. Feeling a bit overwhelmed and wish I could just get rid of the debt, but then that wouldn't learn me anything would it!0 -

Oh flip yeah go with the whoopsies - i got a full weeks shopping yesterday for £8.57 including steak pies, chocolate cake, bread, milk etc etc - i freeze everything and its great
Oh and i don't know if anyone else has noticed, i seem to have a distinct increase in the number of item not received cases being opened on the bayit seemed to ease off there for a while but its back......in time for Christmas shopping
I was caught out recently by a buyer who has claimed 6 times that parcels were not received (other sellers got in touch with me) but i had already sent a refund.
Anyway, i have now put together a response to try and put off any fraudulent claims and thought i'd share:
Hi and thanks for letting me know you haven't received your item yet. I do have a proof of posting for it which i will send you a copy of.
Can you please check with your local post office as they may have tried to deliver and not left a card - this seems to be happening more frequently now and several buyers have got their parcel redelivered.
I will be able to start an investigation case with your local office in a few days time - they ask to wait for 14 days before starting the investigation. Just so you are aware they will be highly likely to contact you if we need to open a case - they have apparently changed their procedures due to a high number of item not received claims being submitted.
In the meantime i will send a copy of this proof of posting and please do let me know if the parcel arrives in the next few days.
Please rest assured i will take all the appropriate action to try and track down your parcel.
Many Thanks
I thought it might be useful for anyone else getting similar claims. (any comments or suggestions welcome)
