Christmas Trees
Comments

Its mine and OHs first christmas living together and we will be spending it at my mums house anyway, but we will be buying a cheap fake tree.
When we do eventually have children and spend christmas at our own home, we will probably go for a real tree.0 -
I love Christmas trees. It's one if my favourite parts of Christmas!
I would love a real tree, but our cats would chew at it so we stay with artificial. That said, we decided to replace it and the decorations last year - it was our second Christmas together but the first living together so we decided to make it a fresh start.
We are big Wigan Warriors fans so we got red and white decorations to match the living room which we re-did when he moved in with me. It's very Christmassy but keeps him interested as it's a link to rugby for him hehe.
Last year we out on a film and decorated the tree together. It was good fun any we laughed a lot as I tended to follow him around amending his work but it meant so much to do it together.
I think that will be a tradition for us; put a film on we know inside out so don't need to focus on and do the tree together whilst talking about our plans etc.
I really love wreaths too and gave one on each door at the front of the house. We have three doors - it's a quirky house! I didn't get time to to match them to the tree last year but have the stuff ready, so I'll be doing that this year. I'm not sure my fella will be fussed with that bit to be honest!0 -
For me the christmassy smell is the smell of tinsel! We have 3 fake trees, I don't think I'd ever have a real tree. We have two dogs, two cats and three little ones, it would die before xmas in this house: DD1 23/11/09

No tree at all..... complete waste of moneyFew people are capable of expressing with equanimity opinions which differ from the prejudices of their social environment. Most people are incapable of forming such opinions.0

Very Christmassy!
I love the smell of tinsel too.
And, a bit weirdly, the smell of scotch tape/sellotape really reminds me of Christmas.:rudolf: :rudolf: :rudolf: :rudolf: :rudolf:0
