Checkout supervisor went to check and I suppose she didn't expect me to follow her, but her first action was to tear off the shelf end ticket with the special promo price on it. When I asked what she was doing she really did put both hands behind her back like a lying kid and say "nothing".
I wonder if we go to the same Asda. I actually had another error on my receipt when I went shopping today. There was an offer on for cat food that didn't come off. After the Ben & Jerry's debacle (it was the same woman) I decided to allow her time to get to the aisle then I followed her. She was pulling the tickets off the shelf. I said, "Did you find them?" She got really snotty and said, "Yes, there was no need to come down." Three times she said this. She really didn't like being caught and no doubt she'd have come back and told me the same story as last time about it not being on offer. Seriously thinking about shopping elsewhere.0 -
Mmmmm clever adsa!
Happened to me before, I let the staff check the promo themselves, when they came back and said it was a diff item on the shelf I just thought I must have misread label, felt so daft.
Mmmmmmmmmmm:j got married 3rd May 2013 :beer:0 -
This has happened to me before in the Castlepoint Store in Bournemouth. On the advice of one of the checkout girls my husband now takes a photo of the price label with his mobile to show customer services. They have always accepted this and duly give a refund.0

I prefer Adsa Whitchurch myself, they've been pretty good when things have scanned wrong at the till.
I shall certain;y be more aware though after reading these posts, about checking my receipts when I've been in there or the Bedminster one! :eek:0 -
Stop acting like a 12 year old, anotheruser. There's nothing wrong with Ezmondino's post and her posting history doesn't suggest in any way that she is a shill for Aldi.Wow. Go up two posts and you'll see I was responding. It's called a conversation.

This happened to me just the other day.
They currently have porridge on offer for £1, but be careful as some have more product for the money (10 sachets instead of 8), but these were still £1. Yet another flavour wasn't in the promotion so scanned through at £3+ (the cinnamon one I believe). Got refunded though.0 -
