Does anybody have a valid email address for billing enquiries at T Mobile?

I have looked all around their website and can't find one, I did manage to get a 'submit an enquiry page' spent ages filling it in and detailing my enquiry, only to get an email back saying it doesn't work anymore:mad:.

I don't really want to ring them because most of the time you end up talking to someone from the other side of the world and it can be a nightmare, also I prefer to keep a paper trail if possible. I have tried ringing to ask for an email address but they wont give you one.

You would think in 2013 things would be easy.............:rotfl:

By failing to provide an e-mail address on their web site, T-Mobile are breaching Regulation 6(1)(c) of the Electronic Commerce (EC Directive) Regulations 2002 which obliges T-Mobile to provide their "electronic mail address, which makes it possible to contact [them] rapidly and communicate with [them] in a direct and effective manner".

When you do make contact, ask them to explain this breach of the law.

I had the same problem - so infuriating! Eventually I found out that they reply if you post on their Facebook page. They replied in a Private Message within 24 hours and sorted my problem out.

    thanks for the info guys.

I thought it was a bit bad not having an email address but didn't know it was against the regulations/law. Though I do think its not on.

I could ring them with the query but it will be a nightmare from previous experience. Also I need to send them a document attached to an email, so that might be difficult over the phone.

I don't use twitter so that's a non starter for me but I do have facebook, so will give that a go I think.

I can't get over them not having an email address in this day and age though, it's disgraceful really.

T-Mobile are doing nothing wrong. Ant non e-business can choose what method it wishes to use fot contact. Ecommerce (only) outfits cannot.

They are not an e-commerce site and never have been, they are a telecommunications supplier who has a web site - and it's not the same thing.

Buzby, please stop posting incorrect drivel (in this and other threads), which appears to be your own fabrication rather than based on any research of the facts. If you had bothered to read the definitions at the beginning of the Regulations, you would see that they cover "any service normally provided for remuneration, at a distance, by means of electronic equipment for the processing (including digital compression) and storage of data, and at the individual request of a recipient of a service”)". It is irrelevant that T-Mobile also sells its services from its shops etc, as well as at a distance. If it sells any services on its web site (which it does), then it must comply.

    Update..........

After 3 days I have finally been able to communicate effectively with T Mobile, though not through Email. I had to go through Facebook. Firstly I asked a question on the open facebook page, I received a response advising me to send a PM so I did. the reply was received telling me I could not contact them via Email it was not possible but I could send a PM with the enquiry and attach a copy of the file I wanted to send. So I have now had to do it that way.

I am not entirely happy with it but I guess at least I might get the problem sorted. I also raised the issue about Email contact as you said NMH, copied and pasted into the Facebook PM.

Only 3 days to be able to get my enquiry submitted in 2013...............
