I would be wary of cheap energy club, I switched in june and it still says switch in process now.

So guess no cashback, no better than any supplier
Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.

Why bother using CEC when you can use any comparison site to find the cheapest tariff and then switch with the actual supplier through a quidco/topcashback link to get the cashbacks.

Hi, , UKPower is one of the better comparison sites , I use it to find the best tariffs and then use quidco/topcashback to get cashback.

    Hi there,

I am looking into your cashback with MoneySupermarket, as it issues them, and will get back to you as soon as possible.

    Kind regards,

  • Hi,

I started my switch at the beginning of August and I haven't heard from my current or new supplier yet. Has my switch dropped off somewhere?

It took 5 months and untold emails to get my cashback. I suspect they make it deliberately difficult to claim in order to bump up the profits. I wasn't impressed and would definitely think twice before using CEC to switch again. I certainly wouldn't recommend it to family or friends.

    I received a reply today,

    "
I do apologise that you haven’t received your cashback yet. I have chased MoneySupermarket and it has confirmed that your cashback should’ve been issued to you in September.

However, it will now be issued to you in mid-October. The payment name will either be “Utilities Cashback” or “MoneySupermarket” on your bank statement and you should receive it by 31st October 2013."
