Hi I cancelled my sky tv and after being a customer for 15 years I was offered 1/2 price line rental for 6 months :rotfl:
Nice to know what they think about their long time customers who never missed a payment!!
Anyway i am now officially all canx on the TV side but i still currently have broadband and phone with them. I am being charged a supplement for not having sky TV and I understand that this is due to not having the TV element so no discounts apply.
However I would just like to know if I move my phone and broadband but keep watching free channels on the sky box will I still be charged for anything? I can currently record etc on my old sky HD box so will this still carry on?
Thanks for any help

Recording and playback of programmes will cease once your Sky TV subscription terminates.
You will be able to view the programmes listed on the Freesat from Sky webpage. That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -
If you want to retain the PVR functions, then you'll need to buy a Freesat PVR (Humax) and switch to the Freesat platform. It's a straight box swap.No free lunch, and no free laptop

Save me starting a new thread, does the Freesat box work via a Sky dish? Cancelled my Sky TV today, sussing a few things out before it ends in a months time.
I will be looking to move my phone and BB (both Sky) in the near future too. Talk Talk looks promising. Thanks Paul.:cool:0 -
