Wouldn`t these people take all your money out of the account irrespective of how much they actually needed and then refund the difference at a later date?

Mines the same but it must be just the value you`ve asked for.
It will be adjusted as soon as the official price is known (330p according to the BBC tonight) and the amount that`s allocated.

You should know at 7am Friday and can trade at 8am.

I got an email off selftrade saying "order cancelled - reason: REBUILD" but the 2000 I wanted to invest is still showing as "awaiting investment"

any other selftrade users hhere?

I wonder how much money they will have made just from banking everyones application money and having it on deposit until they issue balance refunds.

I applied for £2000 worth of shares and this was withdrawn from my account yesterday. Does this mean I have been successful?

There is a precedent, from the privatisations of BT and British Energy, for those wanting large numbers of shares to receive none.

But investors who applied for the minimum on offer, £750, will probably have their orders met in full.

I've forgotten that happening. Cable wants shares put with funds not speculators + gov can sell extra 8% this year so I guess that helps them
