I believe the legislation has recently changed on the 150mm horizontal flue0

there was talk of extending it to 450mm which is madness, but as far as I know it is still only talk.
It was to do with euro !!!! rules and us matching them, but they have to have flues swept regular by law where as we do them when we remember !0 -
The firm is hetas registered, is I thought they would be up to date! Although you now have me worried. Can any fitters reassure me.0

With twin-wall flue you cannot come horizontal out the back off a stove due to the issues with sweeping & soot lying in the pipe which is effectively a fire waiting to happen & once you'v had a chimney fire once you are prone to consistently having them.
The flue must come of the back off a stove with adapter then 90" straight from the spigot or with a adampter then 45" straight from the spigot.0 -
Mr d tells me not to worry. They are hetas registered, so he says they won't sign off something dodgy. I, of course, am the worrying type.0

And right to be so. Read back on this forum if you can stand some sorry sagas about HETAS.
If you have the slightest doubt about your installation pursue it until you are satisfied.0
