Halifax Cashback Extra

Just logged into my Halifax account and noticed a new profitable incentive.
With Halifax Cashback Extra, you can now earn very significant cashback simply by using your Halifax debit or credit card at various retailers.
It is just a click away, so please activate this fantastic incentive when you log into your account.
In my case I have two offers this month. Earn 10% cashback in Body shop (not interested, expensive dump) or 20% cashback in Morrisons up to a £100 spend. Cheers.
I presume that the offers will change each month and will need to be activated each time, so log in folks, click and take advantage.:D
The cashback is paid into your oldest Halifax account at the end of the following month.

You may question anything I say. Just be polite, otherwise you go straight on to my Ignore List, which funds a good old fashioned knees-up every Xmas. Cheers;)

Thanks, will this work with the debit card connected to a Halifax Reward account?

I think it's great.
I've got 3 offers this month, 20% cashback when shopping at Argos (very useful but I don't actually need anything atm), 10% with Rakuten Play.com and £10 cash back when shopping with Ocado (I have taken advantage of this one).

I would think so. Not sure as I have an Ultimate reward account which suits me. Just log in and see if it is available for you.You may question anything I say. Just be polite, otherwise you go straight on to my Ignore List, which funds a good old fashioned knees-up every Xmas. Cheers;)0 -

Your offers sound good - have you previously use your Halifax cards in those shops?
I activated the Halifax cashback scheme on my accounts the other day but do not have any offers showing - though I don't use my Halifax cards very frequently (unless overseas)..

I normally use the Halifax credit card for everyday spending and generally repay in full each month. I only shop in Morrisons once a month usually buying special or reduced offers that I need.
Never shop in the Body Shop.
Don't think the Halifax are targeting my usual spending habits. You may question anything I say. Just be polite, otherwise you go straight on to my Ignore List, which funds a good old fashioned knees-up every Xmas. Cheers;)0 -
They will have made deals with the relevant organisations, similar to Nat West's set up.0

Everyone seems to get differeing ratios of discount.
I only got 10% off at Argos, I know someone else who had offer for 15% off and now someone in this thread says they get 20% off Argos.
That is annoying, I want a Nexus Tablet and 20% off would be epic.0 -
I got 10% off at Homebase, rubbish!0

I've been offered:
20% back at Morrisons
10% back at Q-Park
15% back at Argos
15% back at Oasis
8% back at the Marriott
10% back at Homebase
10% back at BodyShop
10% back at Play.com
offered on both my Ultimate Reward and Reward accounts.
I have used Q-Park before, but not usually a shopper at any of the others, so it doesn't seem to be based on shopping habits. But both of my main bank accounts are with Hx and I use one of my debit cards at least once a day, so that may have counted in my favour!

My offer for Argos is only 5%, but I did make a big purchase there last month. Perhaps the less frequently you shop in a store, the higher the incentive is?0
