  • I think the majority of people have a few good, decent, trustworthy friends that they can go too in a time of need, and vice versa.

This is exactly what I do. Takeaway and a few drinks with a few mates always helps :)

Nowhere, I just talk to the dog, she's always happy to listen.
Since my only 2 friends went into a home I'm a bit lost really.

I arrange to see my oldest and closest friends and we set the world to rights over a takeaway and a bottle or two. My sister or my dad are also brilliant if I need to talk something over. I am very fortunate to have so many great people around me :)
The best day of your life is the one on which you decide your life is your own, no apologies or excuses. No one to lean on, rely on or blame. The gift is yours - it is an amazing journey - and you alone are responsible for the quality of it. This is the day your life really begins.

  • Depends, if I know it's something a bit self-pitiful I usually hit the gym as it helps me change my frame of mind, if I want a bit of understanding and reassurance DH or Friend, if I feel overwhelmed the pub, if I want to talk it out but want to say exactly what I need to say without an edited version the net.

Some time I just want to cry and stick a sad film on or listen to some tunes online and cry into a glass of wine :)
Some times you have to hold back to go forward to where you want to be.

Forums like these are very good for airing a situation if you can't have a good moan with a friend.
  • I go for a drive, that sorts me out. or I write a poem
