Samsung Galaxy,Photos transfer- Laptop NOT detecting all photos? (just some) - Why ?
There are 2000 photos on my galaxy s2, when connecting the USB wire to the laptop to transfer the photos, it only detects 500 of the 2000 photos which are last years photos.
It undetects 1500 photos ? - why ?
howcome? is it a setting of limit to the amount of photos you can transfer ?
Using windows XP Media,
Phone, Samsung galaxy s2
Wire is usb wire, using Windows file transfer/detect photos

I'm not familiar with "Windows file transfer/detect photos", but have you connected the phone and transferred photos previously. Most "photo syncing/transferring" software packages will ignore photos that have been transferred previously.
What happens if you use a standard File Browser/Explorer on you PC and navigate the folders on your phone. Can you see all the photos then?
If so just copy/paste them into a Folder on your PC.0 -
The files may be in a format that windows is not reading .
Seen similar before on SGS range though usually video not pictures .

You might be right there. - i think the ones it Isn't detecting have a bigger/higher resolution. (as it was changed.)
So how do I get the higher resolution 1500 photos to the computer? or would I have to take it to another source other than the Windows XP media photo?
how do you check the photo format? file format of the photos?
and change it ?
is it resolution?
and which resolution photos does Windows XP Media recognize ?0 -
I have tried that, it doesn't detect a folder, but just the 500 files are detected.
no folder is detected.0 -
Windows Explorer doesn't detect? I don't believe you.
