  • Thank you guys so much, really put my mind at rest! I am a student and I spent a lot of time on campus during study term, and stayed at a friend's on campus on many nights. on a couple of occasions I overslept, and didn't get down to my car in time to put a ticket on it. I found the fines in the form of windscreen tickets and understand that it's my fault but with no money (student finance didn't pay me) and £70 per parking fine, I panicked and asked for advice from my friend's parents, who advised not to pay it as it is legally unenforceable. This letter was scary though. Should I complain to somebody if the tickets weren't wrongly given?
Thanks again guys this has been a huge help.
  • If you do complain to anybody about it, please don't call it a "fine".
What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?
