I've not used these people personally but they seem to have plenty of good reviews and most of the keys cost £6.50 Search for your car and check it out.

Unfortunately a £6.50 key will still need cutting, and coding to the vehicle. You cannot code a Mk5 Golf key without a diagnostic machine and the security code (or VCDS and code) if you only have one key already.

I thought 'cos they were asking you to send a photo of your key they must have cut it from that.
I remember seeing a sign outside our local Tesco about them doing deals on car key cutting, i don't know the prices though.


Says on that website the key is cut by the number you give or from a photo .........

This key can be cut from the key code number or from a good digital picture. If cut from a picture the key code number, which is for the physical cuts on the key, will be provided

Oh, I didn't notice that. They may well do, but it'll still need coding.

Plus, I'm not sure I'd fancy sending a high resolution picture of my key to a stranger; if they can cut me one, they can cut themselves (or anyone else) one...

Despite the reviews i think i'd like to know someone that's used them. They do seem cheap. I wonder is there anything about them on the Web anywhere.
