I don't know what to do next, our flight was delayed by 6 hours and after following all Flybe's instruction to get compensation, this is the reply that came today. Does anyone know what else I can do, of have I just to accept that they will not be obliged to compensate me.
Re: BE3646 travelling on the 30th of April 2011 from Bergerac to Southampton.
Thank you for writing to us on the 5th of April 2013 and I offer our apologies for the delay in response.
I am saddened to hear about the issues you mention in your email.
I can confirm that the BE3646 was delayed due technical issues specifically hydraulic problems which resulted in the change of the aircraft, this occurred just prior to your scheduled flight at the airport of departure.
From time to time, technical disruption can occur and Flybe will do everything possible to operate an aircraft until repairs have been affected and this will result in a delay or cancellation.
This is seen as an extraordinary circumstance as decided within the guidelines of EU Regulations as a result, Flybe are not liable to offer any compensation for the delay or any further costs you have incurred as a result of the delay.
Thank you for taking the time to write to us, I apologise for any dissatisfaction felt.
Yours sincerely
