I've used Opera since way back and it really is awesome software. I flirted with Firefox for a few weeks but just not as usable all around for me. The new version seems just as stable as previous and the menu changes have simplified things even more. I use the Minimalist Native appearance and works really well: very modern and functional.0

This morning I got a message "Opera is in use by another user, install with multiple users". So I uninstalled via add/remove programmes and tried installing again. It has just come up with the same message, but I definitely selected multiple users when installing. It won't run.:(
Any ideas?Torgwen.....................

dont know if it is the same with windows but under linux I got the opera window loading 3 times, one behind the other, each time I opened it! (3 instances at once).Dont know if it is a bug with the linux version,Ive got a very finicky laser mouse so might be that.
Could your opera perhaps be trying to open more than one instance and not shutting all of them down before logging off a particular user?
As far as I know ,if one person is still running a prog under windows, another cant run the same prog (do they need admin rights?)0 -

Why would you nneed Roboform with Opera tho? From using it a couple of years back it is intended to make completing forms easier. Opera does that really well already and can be pass protected. Maybe Roboform does different stuff now in which case let me know as I'd be interested in assessing its usefulness.0 -
Fran, I know nothing and it's a complete guess, but did you have older versions of Opera there, maybe for or not for all users? Perhaps the new version over the top has had differing effects on users (maybe you've got more users now than on the first install), and there's a conflict with an old version. Like I say, complete guess, so anyone that knows better please resist the temptation to send up my ignorance.0
