Talk Talk have launched a new SimplyBroadband package, I think this makes them the cheapest out there...
£2.50 Broadband
£9.50 Line Rental (£114 paid upfront)
Total monthly cost for broadband/line rental = £12
Not much good if you actually make calls on the line though.
For some reason it's listed as £13 per month here:

As with most providers you can get a no frills basic broadband only service but you have to pay extra for inclusive calls. Have to admit it but Talk Talk appear to offer the best deal here with inclusive calls anytime as opposed to weekends/evenings and weekends only.0

You can add an anytime calls package to simply broadband for £5.50

It's up to you to cancel your DD when you have received and paid the final bill. No one else can do this, including the outgoing supplier. Never trust a rep who says 'we will do it all for you'. They won't!
It's not a fixed price contract, so they can increase it any time they like. Your contract was for an initial 6 months at a discount of £6.50 (so free). That's now ended, so you pay the full price now applying: £7.50.No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -
Thank you Macman for your reply. I had cancelled my direct debit but I could see EE were trying to take money each month which was rebuffed by my bank. Perhaps I didn't clarify what I meant, in that when I initially spoke with Talk Talk, I specifically asked whether I needed to tell EE I was no longer going to use their service even though my contract with EE had expired. I have it in writing from TT in an email saying I did not need to contact EE at all. It was after I could see EE were trying to take money that I contacted EE and was advised I was not the only one who had been told there was no need to contact previous providers when changing to Talk Talk. The information Talk Talk gave me was misleading to say the least. My 'free' six months doesn't end until January but I think after the 12 months contract is up I will look around again. Many thanks again for your reply.0

I went from Sky to Talk Talk and haven't looked back! Not only is the financial saving is amazing but much better service. My internet connection was continually screwing up with Sky and I've not had any problems since switching.0

Oh dear, I always sung the praises of TT, we had no problems for years, until our phone and BB stopped working, and TT screwed things up so badly we were without services for 11 days!
They couldn't understand basic issues and the number of times we had to repeat ourselves, took 4 days to get through to them that we wanted to complain over the wait length of engineer visit, when we discovered the wrong type of engineer had been booked by TT and they'd closed the fault!
Once things were ironed out Open Reach attended the next working day and fixed the problems. If only TT had done that in the first place it was an entirely avoidable situation.0 -

We have survived your debt collectors. If they contact us again they are liable to pay us 1.4 million pounds so please chase us again.
The little letters you send us could do with being bigger as we use the envelopes to put our childrens lunch in for school.
Also can you use a solicitor next time. We want to see if you have the nerve to do it.
Give my regards to Dido for me.
Toodle pip.
To explain the above post, Thalk talk are a company that badgers and frightens people into giving them money.
Search car phone warehouse on the net. See the clips on You tube, have a chuckle then change your provider for any of the others.
Do not give them any money.0
