What do you do when you're bored?

Two jobs and studying as well, it's a wonder you've got the time to be bored.
I'm exactly the same - work full time, out most evenings at uni or my hobby, so I do appreciate the odd evening in. BUT I always find myself getting bored... I think it's because I know I should be studying but I really really don't want to, maybe OP is the same as me? If I could get paid to procrastinate I would be a millionaire!0 -
I read, get lots of free or very cheap books on the Kindle, watch TV shows or films on Netflix, play games on my phone (currently addicted to Monopoly), read Twitter, Facebook etc. Have a bath, walk the dogs, play with the dogs, visit MSE, visit other websites, update spreadsheets (budgets etc, yes really haha), I love baking but as it's also my job I don't really do that for fun much anymore. Browse eBay looking for bargains. Do some work on my business website, brainstorm ideas etc. Declutter, sell stuff on eBay, donate on Freegle/Freecyle. Nap! (I do love a nap) Think happy & you'll be happy
I :heart2: my doggies

When i'm at a lose end I go on my pc. Like now. I'm ready to start our evening meal but no one is ready for it yet.... So i'm just sitting here tapping away.
Facebook, well I post on there for my daughter in South Africas benefit as she said my timeline was boring so i'm making an effort.
I'd be quite happy on a desert island though. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
when NOT on MSE, I am into our family history - that is sparodic though - sometimes I get so frustrated I need to have a break - months sometimes - at others I can hardly tear myself away!
I have at various times taken evening courses - which I have enjoyed immensely.
I also did a degree with the Open University - purely for my own understanding of my very difficult son. it did take far more than the usual number of years, as sometimes I just couldn't afford it, or the hours I worked didn't suit study.
I love crafts so I can knit, embroider, make cards, make braids using Kumihimo discs (that's addictive!).
Love music, so if MSE is boring me I go on Youtube - sometimes I look up old tunes from my youth - other times I will go for something modern! Black Veil Brides are a current fave.
sometimes I just need a laff so will look for 'funny cats or dogs'.
and..............I always have a book I can read!0
