What do you do when you're bored?

I have been so bored lately and just don't know what to do with myself in the evenings after work.
My children are older (12 and 13) so want to do their own things most of the time.
I have no man in my life after recently splitting up with my bf although we are "still friends" and are regularly in contact.
I work two jobs and am studying for a professional qualification. I have mates that I could go out with if I really wanted to but I live in a small town and it's the same old faces and same boring scenery. All my family lives away.
When I get home from work I could study, I could do my mounting of ironing but I just can't be bothered.
What do you guys do when you are just bored out of your brains?

I'm bored now, that's why I'm here!
At home I sometimes look up people I have lost contact with on Facebook.
The telly keeps me amused most evenings though, if not then I've got recorded stuff. I also read the paper, magazine or a book.
I like to bake at the weekend, but sometimes in the evenings after work.0 -
Craft, it's as inexpensive or as expensive as you want to make it, you can do it on your lap in front of the t.v.
You can make things for the house, presents cards, its very addictive!I don't get nearly enough credit for not being a violent psychopath.0 -

I am fortunate in that I don't tend to get bored. I think that is because I am an only child and am used to entertaining myself. When I come home from work I tend to:-
Read
Watch films (I have a Netflix subscription)
Do crafts
Blog
Watch YouTube videos or listen to podcasts
Chat on forums
I am also a bit of a goal setter so will work on those too0 -
I tend to go and try new sports classes at the gym, or go for a run/cycle, or do a long stretch at home, try ridiculous yoga moves, or a weights session.
I also read, watch films, paint, draw... and move furniture around. When I'm alone I tend to get nesting urges!
Could you try creating projects to keep you occupied? I'm currently painting for an exhibition and proofreading a friend's book. I'm also training for a performance in January (Sports related). Before that, I was managing a project for a relative, publishing memoirs. That took up a good chunk of time!
The year prior, I decided to study more in an area of interest (also helps me with work sometimes, so it was useful!).0 -

My DH works evenings so I find myself alone Mon-Fri nights, although I do tend to visit friends or family at least once a week I do get bored on my own sometimes. To relieve the boredom I tend to do crafts such as card making, scrapbooking and cross stitch.
I also watch TV shows and films that my DH dislikes, I play computer games sometimes, on nice nights I go for a walk, I bake, I sometimes get the urge to have a good sort out and DH will come home to find half the contents of my wardrobe in carrier bags waiting to go to the charity shop! Some nights I just have a bath and read my book.
When all else fails, it is scarily easy how quickly time flies when you're perusing Pinterest!

Two jobs and studying as well, it's a wonder you've got the time to be bored.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,
What it may grow to in time, I know not what.
