    Looks like the credit card company response sums it to completion - would be at retailers discretion..

    For which they had the no cancellation \ refund policy.. Its probably quite common that some tickets do net get collected (No Shows happen) - and since the venue cannot resell them such revenue would be 'lost'..

    The sequence of empty basket / items / back to empty would seem the natural progression of an online purchase - was it specific \ reserved seating or just general admission (Just thinking if different numbers were showing?).. There would have been more a case had they remained in the basket after the transaction had first gone through.. Or weren't showing in the order history..

    i think what convinced me i hadnt bought the tickets is that on all previous purchases i was presented with a purchase confirmation page and transaction number

    just being told the basket was empty did not feel like id purchases anything
