    Like hair dye disasters.....

Plunge your hands into a bowl of bleach. Undiluted.. Leave them there for a few minutes.

Then wash thoroughly and lather on some handcream.

Works for me when the glove for dying the hair splits. But am not sure if it will work for clothes dye.

    Worth a try?

    Ouch!

Maybe try dabbing a bit of cotton wool in bleach and running it over the affected areas, then rinsing your hands thoroughly.

I did this recently and I used flash bleach spray, just sprayed it on and rubbed it in and it all came out. Moisturise lots afterwards though!

Ouch....it makes your nails really white too! No need for French polish or whatever it's called.

I know it seems harsh, but it's only a one off.

I was going to suggest nail varnish remover ,turps (or substitute) or rubbing alcohol.
Life is like a bath, the longer you are in it the more wrinkly you become.
  • The same sort of thing happened to me once... on my boyfriends suggestion, used white spirits. It did get it all off but totally dried out my skin so if you try this - make sure you have some super strength moisturiser to hand! (it also stunk the house out!)

Would be interested to hear the other suggestions (in case it ever happens to me again!)...
  • Not sure whether this would work on dye. But if I have a fake tan disaster I always use hair removal cream!!! It works a treat in removing fake tan from the skin. I use the cheap nair brand you can get in most £1 shops and always have one in just incase. Not sure if you do have any in or anything like that but trip to the shops tomorrow if not?

Oh teabag this made me chuckle, reminded me of the time I was tye dying and got red dye all over my hands, I had a doctors appointment straight after.
The doctors face when I walked in with what looked very much like blood all over my hands was a picture.
Good god, he cried, what on earth has happened.
He couldn't help but show his disappointment when I explained and asked for the pill hahaha.
I don't get nearly enough credit for not being a violent psychopath.
