Is there anyway to find the owner of a set of trade plates?
I know there is the little orange or blue triangle disc but when the car in question is driving at 100mph its hard to see.
On M56 today there was three cars - blue Beetle 13 plate and two un reg'd Polo's all being driven on trade plates. All three cars were racing each other. They must have been doing 100 (I was doing just under 80 when they all zoomed past)
Only manage to rememebr one of the TP numbers.

Looks like you coughed for this.
Want any other offences off your chest?0 -

During the riots I was helping myself to a new iPod when I noticed a couple of lads pinching a Mac Book. How do I grass them in?0

last time I checked
under 80 went for 0 to 790 -
<= 78 usually = no action taken, 79-95 usually = fixed penalty. 96+ usually = court.
But yeah, it's a bit hypocritical to complain about another's speed when exceeding the limit yourself.
What made you think they were having a race, as opposed to convoying at high speeds?0 -
Why do you need to find the owner?0

Think he wants to enter the next M56 gp.
Can't take too much tweaking to get up to the required speed from his normal "just under 80"0 -
Why would you need to know?0

Trade platers. One reason why I wouldn't buy a new car that had to be driven from another part of the country by a trade plater. You never know how they are going to treat it.0
