I bought a pair of boots from New Look a week ago. I tried them on in the shop, and they were a little tight, but I thought I would break into them after a few wears. Yes you can try OP but dont have an expectations of getting a refund, even less chance of a refund when you have worn them a few times. Ebay them and try to recoup as much as you can from the sale.
