Return boots to New Look?

I bought a pair of boots from New Look a week ago. I tried them on in the shop, and they were a little tight, but I thought I would break into them after a few wears.
After wearing them for 2 days, I realised that they were too tight for me, so tight that my toenails were cutting into my toes (not very nice!)
Am I within my rights to go back to New Look and ask for a refund? The shoes have been worn a few times, but I dont think I will be able to wear them again.
Anyone else had a similar situation?

No they won't do anything.
You tried them on in store, went home, wore them a couple of times and have now changed your mind.
Not their fault you should've gone a size up.0 -

Although they don't have to do anything, I would still try.. the worst that can happen is that they say no.0 -

I used to work in a shoe shop and you wouldn't believe the amount of women (my sister included) who buy shoes/boots that are a size too small, thinking that their feet will miraculously shrink or that the shoes will stretch to a whole size bigger after "a few wears"!
Of course you don't have any "rights" to return the boots, there isn't anything wrong with them.
Sell them on ebay or facebook?"I may be many things but not being indiscreet isn't one of them"0 -
This is their store returns policy
"Return your purchase to any store in the country in which you purchased it, within 28 days, in perfect condition. Full price and promotional items returned with a receipt will be exchanged/ refunded at the price purchased. If you don't have your receipt we will exchange/ refund in credit at the current selling price. Unless faulty or misdescribed, sale goods are exchange only. Sale items returned with a receipt will be exchanged at the price purchased. If you don't have your receipt we will exchange at the current selling price. For hygiene reasons we cannot offer refunds on pierced jewellery or swimwear/ hair extensions if the hygiene seal has been removed unless they are of unsatisfactory quality or unfit for purpose. Underwear is returnable as long as unworn & all barcode tags are on. This is in addition to your statutory rights."One important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.0 -

Top Tip! Buy loads of goods on sale then when the sale ends, take them back without a receipt and get goods you actually want cheaper! One important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.0 -

Terrible tip. Normally in shops, asfter sales have finished the stock is written down to pennies to stop just this happening.0 -
