Nothing will be done until the very last second at which point a temporary deal will be struck that satisfies nobody and which just postpones the problem for a few months more.

    Surely that can't be right?

Your prediction is looking good Reaper. The time is nigh!

    Waffles!

And maple syrup to make up enough characters.
  • I sold some Go ahead shares, not sure that counts as panic. (Not the chocy bars)

Its the usual silliness and contradictions. Are you poorer when you spend less or does it just feel like it

Hopefully a big drop over next few weeks to buy up some bargains. Previous ones have been over too quick to take advantage of!

It may throw up some buying opportunities.

I am not cavalier about the whole thing, but having worked for the US govt thru one of these, and my father having been a civil servant there, we have seen these come and go. And in the end it is sorted out, and things go on.

There is only so much foot dragging the constituents of those who wont pass a higher ceiling will stand for. Voters don't like this sort of thing.

There is *always* something that's cheap so I have little time for waiting for expensive things to get a little less expensive.

Of course, I still do it. :D
I am not a financial adviser and neither do I play one on television. I might occasionally give bad advice but at least it's free.

Like all religions, the Faith of the Invisible Pink Unicorns is based upon both logic and faith. We have faith that they are pink; we logically know that they are invisible because we can't see them.
  • Ive got a fiver I can lend the USA to keep them ticking over for a picosecond!!
