I'd like you to look it up to be exact (I have a steam oven so times etc. are a little different)
Basically, slice your apples into a little lemon water. Warm your Kilner jars. Make some syrup with a little sugar & boil.
Pack apples tightly into Kilner jars, pour over boiling syrup & seal.
Bottle in oven.
You can bottle lots of things, but be careful to get the exact information.
I use Kilner jars a lot, they are not cheap, but keep things very well indeed.0 -

Sticking to my £50 food budget this week has been tough but just about do-able.
Making veggie Sosmix pasties tonight to go with steamed veg.
Popped my laundry out for a good blow to get the worst off, I'm sure it will have to go in dryer to finish off later though.
Also found some gift cards the children were given I don't know when. Just spent them now on Lego Friends for them as my sister warned me about gift cards expiring. I must remember after Christmas this year if they are given any to go out and spend them right away.
Had a stupid quote for our new stairs and the stair case being reversed, almost £8,000. we are now getting other quotes...0 -

The pasties have turned out well, it seems they are much easier to make than quiche...:o0 -
I got my washing on the line again today...don't think this weather is going to last though. Well done on sticking to your grocery budget, your pasties sound lovely.Mortgage March 2011 £143,927.6
