Best holiday destinations for young couples

Hi guys,

My GF and I are searching for summer 2014 resorts for our first holiday together.

The trouble is we are very broad in where we'd like to go. Here are our basic requirements:

  • Aged 24-25
  • Budget £6-700 for 10 night stay
  • Good beaches
  • Enough nightlife to have some drinks and a boogie but not Magaluf-esque
  • All inclusive (if poss)
  • Travel in mid June
If anyone has any suggestions that would be much appreciated, we're all ears!

Hmm I think "Beefa" might be a bit too lively - we're kind of looking for a middle ground between 'quiet' and 'party central'.

There is much more to Ibiza than clubbing central, try Punta Arabi for a quieter time.

Santa ponsa Majorca, we have just come back from here as a family of 4 and have booked to go back again May. The apartments are couples and families, AI is an option which we did and have done again for May. We booked through travel republic last time but this time have booked direct through the hotel 'plazmar apartments' (gran isla) its loads cheaper and then have booked flights, insurance and transfers through travel republic.

    Love the place
Not sure I'd recommend it for your needs though, just a bit too quiet I would have thought.
Change is inevitable, except from a vending machine.
  • Hi,

Albufeira in Portugal is quite good for young couple imo. My BF and i (28 & 24) have just returned from there and theres lots to do, not mental nightlife but lively, there is a main strip and an old town, we prefered old town which has plenty going on, good bars and restaurants, lovely atmosphere with a nice mix of all ages so not just young groups of friends getting !!!!!!. also has fantastic beaches!! This was the 2nd time we have been, also went 3 years ago. Only thing is im not sure about the standard of the all inc hotels there as we stayed SC both times.

We also loved Lanzorote (Costa Teguise), Tenerife (playa de las americas) & Gran Canaria (maspalomas) which we have visited in the last 4years and all were great for us as a young couple, plenty to do and great beaches.
