Ovivo Mobile - Suspicious Billing?!
Options
This is a good little, free service but this is the 2nd occasion where something didn't seem right about the billing.
I recently returned from abroad and on return been ill so not been out much (to use data) or make many calls.
I did go out on Sunday and suddenly got a message that my data had been used and that my balance was low??
Looking back on the limited activity record it doesn't explain the loss of my free 500 meg and balance.
I emails support but they simply backed up that I had used my data and credit but I have asked them to investigate and back up their claims.
Anyone had any problems or suspicions?

In my short time with Ovivo I have had no problems.
You Mention "limited activity record" but you can see every days record/usage for the monthly period. So you should be able to see on what day you used all of the data or whether it was an amount used every day.0 -
I'm such an occasional data user (and been abroad for 3 weeks) that I hadn't yet swapped to the new APN
After a modest (60 kB) data session on the 1st July, I received an email a couple of days ago reminding me to swap to the new access point ovivomobile.com
They say any use of the previous APN after 15th July will be charged for, on a per megabyte basis.
Those like me who hadn't swapped over, be warned.0 -
Yup had swapped, thanks for your help thoPLAY GOOD!

I've noticed that my data usage according to Ovivo always seems to be about 20Mb more than I've used according to my phone.
Even their own systems used to disagree (SMS query agreed with my phone, Website said I'd used 20mb more) but that seems to have changed recently.0 -

I think the activity record is more limited than it used to be. The data usage used to show the start and end times. Now if you have several sessions in one day you just get a daily total.
On the subject of MyOvivo - I think it has gone backwards - used to be able to see more than one day at a time, and remember phone number on login. Also would like option to see a monthly summary with daily totals.
Mancunian - keep us updated if yo get any further response/explanation from Ovivo.0 -
Check your APN settings. Maybe you encountered same problem as above.
It wasn't that but thanks.
Received an unhelpful email from support who seemingly can't be arsed to investigate:-
From: Ovivo Mobile Support <support@ovivomobile.com>
Date: 25 September 2013 12:59:38 BST
To: xxxxxx@me.com
Subject: Ovivo Mobile Enquiry
Dear Customer
Thank you for your enquiry regarding 07435 xxxxxx.
Unfortunately we can not give a full detailed usage record.
You could look for a usage app which would tell you your usage in the future.
I can see that your bundle ran out of internet on the 22.09.2013 at 15:14 and your data usage would of started to go from the credit you have on the account.Your bundle will renew on the 01.10.2013.
I hope this has helped,
Kind regards,

To add to my conspiracy theory (haha) their allowance info page (my.ovivomobile.com) hasn't been being displayed for a few days and the text service - 39555 is showing my full allowance when u have used a lot.
Anyone else having these problems? ThxPLAY GOOD!

No problems here
Data is a bit slow most of the time for me but apart from that, Calls and texts have been spot on!

I lost the initial that £10 I paid. Emails went un-answered. Then I phoned three times; but they did not reimburse.
With this experience, I won't be buying any credit.
Did you go over the free limit or was it by not updating the data platform some months ago ?It's not just about the money0
