Would anyone buy a TV off ebay?
My lil sister wants a TV dvd combi! and hasn't got too much money so would like as inexpensive and as good one as she can get! What do you think about buying off ebay? has anyone had any good/bad experiences? or a seller they would recommend?
....or perhaps anywhere else you can get them that little bit cheaper?
Thank you

Not sure, think I would rather buy a cheapie from a shop and at least then have a guarantee. Would also be cheaper to buy them separately I would have thought tho maybe not as compact0

I have looked at TV's before on EBay some good(ish) deals but its the P+P that normally kills it for me.0

There never is when I check it!
....also it isn't cheaper to buy them seperately! for a decent one I have found one for about £79.99 which is probably what I'll go for!

Like the otheres have said, I would rather a new one complete with guarantee. Otherwise I would check the small adds locally and see and try it before I buy.

so how much money are we talking abt any way... you probably spend £20 or more with P&p on ebay ontop of the price you get it at so might be cheaper to get one from a shop... why dont you start your own thread asking peeps if they have seen one whilst out shopping...
i got a dvd/video combi for my daughter and got it cheaper than i had seen and got the info off this siteThose we love don't go away,They walk beside us every day,Unseen, unheard, but always near,
Still loved, still missed and very dear

Do an advanced search to include your postcode, this means you can go pick any item you win locally, so if you save on p&p you should get a bargain.0

Personally I wouldn't even consider getting a TV off ebay. There are plenty of good deals around from 'proper' shops whether online or offline which will give you a lot more security and convenience should something go wrong.0

Boots sell one at £59.99 but they are sold out on the web at the moment.Index have a BEKO 14" AT £ 79.99 free delivery ( and might be having a big closing down sale. Argos the same price, in store. I would also try places like Tesco as I sure I saw one in store for a really good price last week.0

I know people who have bought TV's off ebay and have had no problems. I think the key thing is to ask any questions before hand regarding anything and no matter how silly the question is. This will indicate to you how good a seelr a person is. Also see the feedback on previous items a seller may have sold. If they have had good feedback on TV's then go for it.0
