When I took out my contract I was told that swappables usage does not come out of your monthly allowance.
But the choice of swappables for the iPhone was rubbish (Russel Grant, a ropey TV service, and Deezer), and I ended up opting for Deezer but have never used it.

It's classed as an additional service - so you won't be able to cancel your contract. In the same way that Orange Maps is being phased out this month, so people who have it included in their plan will lose it - as it's an additional service - tough.

Im pretty sure that this is incorrect. My Panther36 contract is inclusive of 2 swapables. They are not additional services to me. Whilst they might be for anyone paying for them, they are certainly inclusive for me, and as such form part of my contract.

More Orange bulls*it.... it is 1GB as I recall.... sure i've got a screen print of it somewhere.

EDIT: The screen shot I have says "You will not incur any additional data charges when accessing the Deezer application"

I'm sure I saw mention of 1GB FUP for it but don't have proof of that... either way, with an album being about 65mb then to say the limit is 100mb is ludicrous.

No, I couldn't see any mention of the 100mb anywhere when I checked and pointed out that 100mb would not go very far streaming music!

You mustn't be a music fan... I'm not a huge music person but I do like Deezer, it's excellent.

That's the line Orange would undoubtedly take but I would counter claim that the Swappables were instrumental in soliciting me to sign up to the contract and so are a key part of the contract. I will write happily take them to CISAS over it, I've got a 100% record on that front so far :)

Any it's all irrelevant until it happens and it may well not happen :)
