Clothes have horrible cheesy smell after washing them :(

    Apologies, just saw comment that 60 deg wash corrected the problem. Still it is worth considering.

    Maybe this is the price we pay for all this low temp washing to conserve energy. I'd rather my clothes smelt fresh

    Check the Drain hose, it should not go any higher than the output level all the way to the drain, if it does it will create a waterlock and stagnant water hangs around in the machine and mixes back in when washing.
    I do Contracts, all day every day.
