I bought this one from Amazon for £459.00

I had vouchers so it bought the cost down considerably which means when I replace the laptop I can look for laptops up to the price of £459.
My laptop had a unfortunate small fall but a loud one
I was really tired and the wire caught.
Anyway, I would have loved the same one again but it isn't in stock for the same price so I need to choose a different one. I can't find it in the same colour so a different colour is fine.
I want to stick with ASUS and to be honest I'm still not used to the Windows 8 so I don't care if it's Windows 7.
Must be from Amazon. Please help.

Just asking, but have you had a look yourself, you obviously know what you are looking for, spec wise and price wise, so just a matter of finding similar specs with similar priceMansion TV. Avoid at all cost's :j0

Yes I've been going through loads and the only one I could find is £50 more. All the other ones fall below the specs.
I'm still not convinced by Dell and Samsung etc. but if anyone really does recommend them I guess it's worth trying.Cup of Tea? :coffee:0 -
When you say must be from Amazon. Do you mean must be sold by amazon or is it ok with any company through amazon?
If it has to be Asus, it looks like it has to be ~£500
Or do you consider other brand? Toshiba? Levono? HP? Acer?0 -

It must be sold and dispatched by Amazon. So not ASUS on Amazon but Amazon themselves must sell it too.
I would consider another brand but I'm off Acer after my last laptop.Cup of Tea? :coffee:0 -
Why not mend your old one? What's broken? If it's just the hard drive, replace it and reinstall the OS.No free lunch, and no free laptop

You can apply a filter and make it under £500 and sold by amazon.
Acer & Lenovo are in stock, while other likely to be 2 - 4 weeks

It seems Lenovo is the only option if you don't want acer?0 -
There's a couple of Lenovo laptops which might suit you. Have been more than happy with the Lenovo laptops that we have had. I'd rate them on a par or even a bit better than Asus.

I've got the older version of the 2nd link and it's been a great laptop. A bit heavy to carry around, but other than that, no complaints whatsoever.0 -
Thank you for your replies I'll be checking the links.
I can't fix the laptop as it fell and the corner of the casing is cracked. Fell with a hard bang. I certainly know how this happened as I'm careful with my laptop but it will probably cost a lot to fix.Cup of Tea? :coffee:0 -
