Boots Customer Services?

Options
Are Boots renowned for their poor customer services or is it just me? I wrote a letter of complaint to my local branch nearly 2 months ago cc'ing head office in and haven't heard anything yet. I messaged them on Friday on facebook and still haven't heard anything from them.

I'm thinking an email to the ceo is the next step? I'd have thought they'd send something at least!

What was your original complaint? Some complains aren't worth bothering with. Of course people are going to say they *should* respond to every complaint but reality is different and you don't want to waste time flogging a dead horse

I wouldn't bother emailing the CEO - it won't actually go to him...at best it'll be intercepted by a PA who will bounce it back into customer services. Rest assured the CEO won't take time out of his day to deal with your issue - unless it is ultra-serious

The way I was treated in store and on the phone, complete waste of a journey i.e. their appalling lack of customer services.... hmmm....!

I think you're better voting with your feet and shopping elsewhere to be honest. Boots don't seem to know, or care, what they're doing these days.

I've always found Boots to be helpful. When I was short on points I rang customer services. They took my word. I was awarded the points owed and 500 extra.

Perhaps if we knew your exact complaint, we could decide if boots were justified in not responding, though I've always found them excellent.
  • They got back to me pretty quickly when I contacted them but then that was for praise not criticism.

When you say you "wrote a letter", what address did you post the letter to for the branch, and whose attention was it marked for, also what address & whose attention at head office?
    1. Have you tried to Google the answer?
    2. If you were in the other person's shoes, how would you react?
    3. Do you want a quick answer or better understanding?
