Stamps and postage costs?

I'm finally running out of the stamps I bought before the price rises to 50/60p.
Where should I be looking to keep my postage costs down? More stamps? Or a service?
Thanks for any help.

How long is a piece of string?
It depends what you sell in value, weight and size.
There are various delivery options but there is no one size fits all.0 -
If you decide to continue using stamps, you can buy in bulk at a discount on eBay from stamp dealers - around 20% less than face value generally if you buy a sizeable amount.0

Are they dodgy ones they, unfranked etc?0

Got any links, looks like a massive minefield with collectors/new/unfranked all mixed together and some sellers selling them for more than they cost at the post office.
Thanks.0 -

Thanks.
There are plenty of sellers on ebay, just look through the listings, the same way I do. Try "mint stamps face value" which will weed out a lot of the "unfranked" ones.
The ones that have been used tend to say not valid for postal use, the ones that haven't been used are listed as having full gum.
Plenty of sellers off ebay too, just google the same phrase. you're as capable of putting it into google as I am.0 -
Royal Mail give out stamps to people who do surveys for them, and plenty of those then end up on ebay. They typically sell for about 80-85% of face value.0

Make sure you look for 'full gum' or 'UMM' and you'll be fine.0 -
Costco also sell stamps at below face value. Haven't bought any for a while as haven't been posting lots of stuff.0

I tend to type in "100 stamps class" and it brings up all the 100 x stamps that are on there.
Keep looking regularly as some people put some on with buy it now's during the day. About a month ago, someone was selling 100 2nd class stamps for £32.50 but I missed out as I was too late.0
