I am still unsure, but, funnily enough, I just saw my neighbour, Vax, in his garden and I asked his advice as he is very sage, he is.
He sucked in his cheeks and cleared the dust from his lungs before answering as he was having a coughing fit while he was winding in the hose in his garden.
He said I should join up. So I think I will. Please send me a link to the Skipton forum as that sounds like a good place for me. I really must brush up on my use of these forums as its all still a bit confusing to me.0 -
Florian, welcome! I was about to quit this forum because I kept making Stephen angry and I didn't want that to get out of hand.
But now that you're on here asking some very valid questions I think I'll stay a little longer to see what answers you get.
Would love to hear more about Kirby and Henry too! Are they related and what are their colours? Oh, and please don't go and buy £480,000 worth of tinned food for them, even if they do like the first tin.0 -
Someone has a fetish with hoovers we have adgar Dyson dog called henry & Vax0

Hi Slawit
Aren't we lucky that we have such great neighbours? I am glad your neighbour was such a support, just as mine was.
I've just been hoovering my floors - I've got carpet and laminate and my dogs hairs get everywhere but I find it quite relaxing and helps me clear my mind and think things through.
I was in quite a reverie hoovering away, when Bosch!! I have made the decision to join the campaign so thank you to rake hike for the link. People are so helpful and upright on here, its really quite an eye opener.
Now time for dinner, Currys tonight. Yum!0 -
Beetroot Head
nobody can make anyone angry, psychologists refer to it as Transference, blaming others for one's own moods. I've never been angry in my life, lowest form of intelligence, as is your level of stupid commentary.
Talking of intelligence and upstanding remarks, Flo Dyson seems to be rather even in their coverage, the length of lead, sorry seems to be quite extensive too. Flo D, do you think with sucking up to 118's carpet marketing techniques you are in danger of leaving this thread bare?0 -
Lewis/Dyson nice to see you have a split personality.0

Mike I don't rate your hiking of this thread. Mark my words though, stick to the Facts and Technical issues. Da?0

A distressed BTL landlady answered a knock on the door one day, only to be confronted by a well-dressed, slightly receding and portly young man carrying a 118 vacuum cleaner.
"Good morning", " said the young man. "If I could take a couple of minutes of your time and £250, I would like to demonstrate the very latest in high-powered 118 vacuum cleaners. "
"Go away!" said the old landlady. "I haven't got any money!" and she proceeded to close the door.
Quick as a flash, the young man wedged his foot in the door and pushed it wide open. "Don't be too hasty!" he said. "Not until you have at least seen my marketing demonstration." And with that, he emptied a bucket of horse manure onto her hallway carpet.
"If this 118 vacuum cleaner does not remove all traces of this horse manure from your carpet, Madam, I will personally eat the remainder."
The old lady stepped back and said, "Well I hope you've got a darn good appetite, because they cut off my electricity this morning."0 -

Stephen, "thou doth protest too much" !!!
Never mind, I'll try not to upset you tonight, not least because there are new interesting questions being asked. But tell me who will I be tonight? Beetroot Head, Mike or Alex?Maybe all three?

Thank you Beetroot Mike. Kirby and Henry are not related. Kirby is black and white and Henry is brown and white with a black blob on his back. They love nothing more than running free through the forest hoovering up all the tantalising smells.
But back to business. On the matter of me joining the Skipton forum, I am still in two minds.
I spoke to my Japanese friend, Miele, and she said I should just accept the rate rise. In other words, suck it up. I might even have to tighten my belt!
When I go to the Skipton forum I am not sure what to ask. Please advise Mike and Lewis. I can take the questions and filter them out to ask one or two that might benefit anyone else thinking of plugging in.0
